Designing learning experiences that blend creativity, cultural awareness, and hybrid collaboration.
I am an interdisciplinary educator and learning designer with 20+ years of experience creating in‑class, online, and hybrid learning experiences. My work blends creativity, cultural diversity, and practical collaboration strategies shaped by my MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts and my DBA research on leadership, virtual teamwork, and organizational culture.
I design learning experiences that support clarity, inclusivity, and real‑world problem‑solving — helping learners navigate hybrid environments with confidence and cultural awareness.

My work as an educator, interdisciplinary artist, and learning designer shares a common foundation: understanding how people interpret information, construct meaning, engage with ideas, and connect with diverse cultural perspectives and environments. Visual communication, interdisciplinary inquiry, creativity, and human-centered problem solving are central to both artistic practice and effective learning design. Together with my research on leadership, virtual collaboration, and trust-building, these experiences inform an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, lifelong learning, and meaningful engagement.
My doctoral studies deepened my understanding of leadership, organizational culture, workplace learning, and trust-building strategies in virtual collaboration. These perspectives shape how I design learning experiences that promote engagement, meaningful participation, and knowledge sharing while supporting both individual growth and organizational success. My research reinforced the importance of fostering connection, trust, and collaboration across diverse higher education, workplace, and virtual learning environments.
My professional work spans art, higher education, leadership, and learning design. While my art website reflects my creative and interdisciplinary artistic practice, my Learning Design Portfolio highlights instructional design, educational innovation, teaching, leadership, and workplace learning. Together, they represent an interdisciplinary career centered on creativity, communication, inquiry, and lifelong learning.
